Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) Nigeria’s national platform for executive capacity development, management excellence, and knowledge exchange in public administration, serving Nigeria and the wider African public sector. Established by the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria Decree No. 39 of 1973 (commencing 1 June 1972), now the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria Act, Cap. A4, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, ASCON is headquartered in Topo, Badagry, Lagos. We equip leaders across federal, state and local governments, and train cohorts from ECOWAS and other African administrations. Our programmes connect policy, budgeting, delivery and accountability, aligned with national and sub-national reform priorities. To what end? ASCON’s training is purpose-built to: • Improve citizen-facing services (speed, quality, coverage). • Lift institutional performance through clear KPIs, operating models, and delivery discipline. • Strengthen governance and trust via compliance with rules, transparency, and results reporting. • Build a capable state—people, systems, and culture—able to plan, execute, and sustain reforms. Let’s build capable institutions—Nigeria first, Africa forward. 📍 Topo, Badagry, Lagos | ✉️ info@ascon.gov.ng | 🌐 www.ascon.gov.ng
