At AECM, we are dedicated to representing our members—institutions that provide loan guarantees to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Europe who have an economically sound project but cannot provide sufficient bankable collateral. Our mission is to advocate for our members with EU institutions, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote the importance of guarantee instruments in boosting SME access to credit. Founded in 1992, AECM has been a cornerstone in empowering SMEs by enhancing their creditworthiness and opening doors to financial opportunities. 🚀 Here’s a snapshot of what we do: 🔹 Advocacy: Representing our members' interests at the European level. 🔹 Knowledge Exchange: Facilitating collaboration and sharing of best practices. 🔹 Promotion: Highlighting the role of guarantee instruments in supporting SMEs.
