Vision Alberta’s diverse resource sector is understood, valued and successful. Mission ACR provides cross-sector leadership for the strategic and responsible development of Alberta’s natural resources. Shared Beliefs The ACR and our members believe in: - An approach that considers the economic, social and environmental impacts of resource development. - Co-operation and collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders, respecting their diverse viewpoints. - Developing solutions to address issues that are critical to Alberta’s natural resources. The focus of ACR is cooperatively developing solutions to the challenges and opportunities to resource development in Alberta. This is achieved through the actions of our member committees and working groups. Through these cooperative efforts, ACR members are involved in supporting the resource sector and benefit from the collective knowledge and networks created by our organization. The value of our resources has made Alberta—and Canada—one of the best places in the world to live and work. Resource extraction has improved the quality of life in our province. We are committed to continuing the responsible development of resources in Alberta.
