Altair Power is building distributed hydrogen-based energy infrastructure designed to structurally replace diesel generators in regulated urban environments. As electrification accelerates faster than grid expansion, temporary and off-grid power demand continues to rely on fossil fuels. Altair addresses this structural gap by integrating automotive proven hydrogen fuel cell systems with proprietary vehicle and energy management software, transforming electric vehicles into permit free mobile clean energy nodes. Each deployed unit delivers up to 160 kW DC / 80 kW AC of zero-emission power and avoids approximately 50–60 tonnes of CO₂ annually under intensive use. With secured EU co-financing and a scalable asset backed deployment model, Altair is building a European platform for hydrogen based distributed energy at the grid edge.
