Based in Suffolk, the heart of East Anglia, near Newmarket and close to the borders of Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, I am Bob Brotchie, owner of Anglia Counselling Ltd and now, joint provider of counselling services, including psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) - for individuals, couples (of any persuasion) and families. Penni Osborn has recently joined me to offer even greater diversity. To learn more, please visit our website! My training and background helps me guide and share that effective change of the individual needs to take into account the whole person - by placing their life in context - instead of focusing on isolated behaviours. Thanks to this approach I succeed in working with people to understand themselves better and let them find their best resources to overcome difficulties with a sustainable strategy. I also successfully provide for business managers and leaders the ability to regain focus, clarity and creativity by clearing the emotional clutter, allowing them to enjoy their 'other' life - at home! For others, I offer counsel - and where needed - therapy for depressive illness, anxieties, bereavement and relationship difficulties. Person-centred counsel to empower clients to take back control of those perhaps less than nourishing cognitive behaviours including negative thoughts and low esteem, depression, stress, and anxieties in their various forms.
