Ankeny is thriving, and the Ankeny Youth Sports Alliance (AYSA) is proud to be part of such a dynamic, growing community. But as the population has grown, one important need hasn’t kept up: access to high-quality youth sports facilities. Families across Central Iowa, especially those involved in lacrosse, ice sports, and softball, struggle to find enough local fields and venues. Too often, teams have to travel long distances, even out of state, just to compete. We’re a nonprofit organization working to change that. Our goal is to build a state-of-the-art sports complex that gives young athletes the opportunity to play, grow, and compete - right here in their own community.
