The Academy of Law was established in 2007 in response to an Australian Law Reform Commission recommendation (ALRC 89) as to the need for communication and collaboration between the judiciary, legal academics and the legal profession. As the fifth learned academy in Australia, we aim to inform the public and advance the discipline of law.
