Be Fearsome builds leaders, teams, and individuals who perform under pressure. Founded by former Royal Marines Commando Tom Frearson, Be Fearsome exists to develop real-world human performance — not theory, trends, or surface-level wellbeing. Our work is grounded in lived experience, high-pressure environments, and the belief that leadership starts with self-leadership. Being Fearsome is a mindset. It is the ability to face pressure, uncertainty, and challenge with clarity and composure. It means overcoming fear and apprehension through preparation, raising personal and professional standards, and taking ownership of how you show up — especially when it matters most. We operate across four specialist brands, each focused on a different expression of performance: Leadership — developing leaders who are clear, composed, and effective under pressure Performance — building sustainable physical, mental, and emotional readiness Events — immersive experiences that test, align, and strengthen teams through challenge Outdoors — outdoor training that builds resilience, fitness, and community through shared effort Across everything we do, the standard is the same: clarity, ownership, readiness, and action. We don’t sell motivation or quick fixes. We develop capability — helping people build resilience, raise standards, lead stronger, and perform when it matters most. Be Fearsome is about preparing people to meet pressure with confidence — in work, in life, and in challenge.
