BEing There Counseling recognizes that what most people experience as problems in their life arise from a lack of emotional skills. When someone is skilled with their emotions, they do not resist the experiences they encounter, even when unpleasant. They simply do the work, the emotional work needed to choose a course of behavior that best reflects their inner being. Life becomes a reflection of these numerous choices, and it is harmonious. In recognition that almost no one receives adequate training in emotional skills while growing up, BEing There Counseling always includes emotional skill-building, whether in individual or group counseling. This is the essence of what is called “psycho-education”. You learn skills that the normal up-bringing fails to teach you, which you then apply to the situations in your life that feel like problems. This is known as “psycho-dynamics”. In this way, you resolve problems and gain greater skills for the future. The emotional skills offered by BEing There Counseling are part of a complete proprietary system, called “Consciousness Counseling”. Albert Einstein said, “Problems cannot be solved at the same level of consciousness that created them.” It is only by realizing greater consciousness that one can resolve problems. Emotional skills are the first step in gaining greater consciousness. BEing There Counseling brings you “Consciousness Counseling”.
