From the House of Bharti. Founded in 1976, by Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Bharti group has grown from being a manufacturer of bicycle parts to one of the largest & most respected business conglomerates with business interests in diverse fields including telecom, space communications, digital infrastructure, financial services, real estate, and agri-processed foods. Bharti Airtel, the group’s flagship company, is among the top listed entities in India having operations in 17 countries across Asia & Africa. Airtel is India’s largest integrated communications solutions provider and Africa’s second-largest mobile operator, serving nearly 500 million customers across its operations. Bharti Real Estate was established in 2003 with the intention of diversifying into new business sectors with the rapidly expanding Indian economy and the resulting demand for Grade-A real estate. Several projects with a GLA of 5.4 million sq. ft, including the renowned Worldmark Aerocity Phase I in New Delhi, Worldmark Gurugram, Airtel Centre, and Bharti Crescent, have been successfully delivered by Bharti Real Estate in the past. While a much larger asset base with GLA of over 9 million sq. ft is under development as an integrated destination with grade-A offices and mega destination retail. Bharti Real Estate has grown to become one of the most recognized and respected names in commercial real estate, with some of the most prestigious addresses in the country. However, the endeavor is to go beyond standalone business or shopping destinations and create truly iconic mixed used developments that are dynamic and desirable. These assets have been revered by top MNCs for their headquarters and currently have some of the topmost firms as occupants.
