The Black and Brown Collective (BABCO) is a non-profit team of growth agents who provide value-add support through advocacy, events and education, to early-stage entrepreneurs across underserved communities. Our founders - Brian Owens (Boston, MA) and Chester Felts (New York, NY) - are business professionals with over 25 years of experience in corporate media and marketing. After witnessing the challenges of small business survival following the pandemic, the two reconnected at Martha’s Vineyard in 2022 to collaborate on ways to support aspiring entrepreneurs from their shared community. Brian currently serves on the Greater Boston Roxbury YMCA Advisory Board.
