The Black Girls Dive (BGD) Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by citizens concerned about the number of swimming fatalities in the African American community. The mission of BGD Foundation is, “Keeping young girls and women afloat.” The organization is operated by volunteers and a cadre of dedicated Board of Directors.
