Welcome to Blockpower – Experienced in grid tied, hybrid and off-grid solar PV applications, with partners in industrial scale PV, automation and manufacturing. What sets BlockPower apart is the creation of a cutting-edge product that connects the abovementioned industries via a single unit that can be installed at any scale of residential development. It’s smart, simple and efficient. Unlike most other systems, which are developed in Europe and the US, the Blockpower system was developed in South Africa and tailored to suit local conditions. The result? A system that works for the country’s unique electricity challenges. Blockpower uses all-black PV modules, which create a striking aesthetic effect. To keep the system safe and operational at all times, these are supported by the leading switch gear on the market. With over 300 systems in the field, Blockpower has a solid track record. We’re determined to become the market leader in energy generation, distribution and smart electrical infrastructure for residential developments and resorts. Although we’re not yet where we want to be, we’re a long way from where we started. With a highly motivated and experienced team and a network of installation companies throughout South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa; we’re accessible, wherever you may be.
