BloqUV: The Leader in High-Performance UPF 50+ Sun Protective Apparel At BloqUV, we believe in embracing the outdoors without compromising on sun protection. Based in Miami, Florida—a city known for its sunshine and active lifestyle—we recognized the need for lightweight, breathable, and stylish sun-protective apparel that truly works. Our journey began with a simple realization: traditional T-shirts block only 5% of the sun’s rays, leaving the skin vulnerable to damage. This led us to develop BloqTek®, our proprietary UPF 50+ fabric, which blocks 98% of UVA/UVB rays. Unlike chemical-based alternatives, our sun protection is inherent to the fabric, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness even after repeated washes. For over 15 years, BloqUV has been at the forefront of innovative sun protection, offering moisture-wicking, quick-dry apparel designed for performance on land and water. Whether for running, paddleboarding, tennis, golf, or simply enjoying the outdoors, our collections provide the ultimate balance of comfort, function, and protection. Beyond apparel, we are committed to raising awareness about sun safety. Each May, we partner with our retailers for the “Bloq It with BloqUV” melanoma awareness campaign, reinforcing our mission to educate and protect. Available in over 800 locations across resorts, spas, tennis and golf clubs, boating, swim, surf, and hiking stores, BloqUV is the trusted choice for those who demand the best in sun protection. Enjoy the outdoors with confidence—BloqUV has you covered.
