Since 2011, East Valley Diabetes & Endocrinology has been serving the local community in the Gilbert area for diabetes and endocrinology. Dr. Devendra Wadwekar, as the head of our staff, gives extra insight into the health concerns of those with chronic care needs such as hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol, thyroid, and parathyroid disorders. He also helps those with type 1 or type 2 diabetes through assisting with insulin pump management, continuous glucose monitoring, thyroid ultrasounds, and thyroid nodule biopsies. Dr. Wadwekar also holds a specialty in endocrinology, which is the system of glands in the human body that creates hormones, which affects different organs. He and his team, evaluates and assists in the management of all other Endocrine disorders like Testosterone deficiency, Pituitary disorders, Adrenal disorders, Calcium issues, and Osteoporosis.
