EG was the first pharmaceutical company to launch generic medication in the Belgian market back in 1987. In the meantime, we have become the biggest pharmaceutical company in Belgium. * We are market leader in generic medicine, offering solutions for virtually any health problem. EG is indeed the brand most prescribed by general practitioners in Belgium. Year on year we extend our EG range. That way we continue to contribute to affordable high quality health care. * We market scientifically proven food supplements (so-called 'evidence-based nutraceuticals') and innovative OTC products that help you to stay healthy. These products are available without prescription at your local pharmacy. * We also offer highly specialised products to hospitals. The drive of our employees is our strength. We cherish our corporate culture and even have a name for it 'MEP' (Motivation – Energy – Passion). We screen potential new employees for these qualities to ensure that we strongly preserve and even strengthen that MEP vibe! Our mission is to: Allow everybody to lead their life in optimal health • By taking a leading role in ensuring the accessibility of medicines for all health problems • By building innovative brands with qualitative, scientifically proven efficiency • By being a preferential partner for health care professionals
