Founded in Boston in 2000, Element55 invented automatic time capture with its first release of Legal55 in 2003. Since then, Legal55 has been the acknowledged gold standard for automatic time capture at major law firms. In 2011, Element55 launched Hosted55 for mid-size and smaller law firms, and in 2012, introduced Professional55 for individual timekeepers. Element55 time capture products recover an additional 72 billable hours per attorney per year.
