The European Institute for Future Generations (EIFG) is an independent research and educational institute and a pro-European think tank. Our mission is to shape the opportunities and challenges of the AI and digital age in such a way that Europe's freedom, prosperity, traditional values, and democratic, rules-based order remain secure in the long term. We want to open up future prospects for younger generations that combine economic dynamism with social responsibility. In doing so, we are guided by the model of the social market economy and a subsidiary approach that provides impetus for a resilient, robust social order. Our focus areas - Technology at the service of Europe: We analyze and promote the responsible use of digital and decentralized innovations so that Europe can maintain and strengthen its sovereignty even in times of geopolitical tensions, growing dependencies, and in the age of AI and the new industrial revolution. - Politics, economy, and security: From our base in Bavaria, we contribute to economic and financial policy issues as well as foreign and security policy – always with the aim of giving our continent a strong, modern identity. - Identity and values: Building on the foundation of Christian-Jewish cultural history, we develop perspectives for a value-driven Europe that can compete globally while remaining true to its cultural heritage. In the age of social media, personal, human encounters and a natural sense of home and environment are essential. The EIFG is a NGO that has already been established as a registered association and has full legal capacity. Recognition as a non-profit organization is planned for November 2025.
