HERITA MARZOTTO WINE ESTATES is an Italian story of passion and hard work, founded in 1935 by Count Gaetano Marzotto, who envisioned modern, efficient agriculture integrating people, nature, and technology. 90 years later, the vision remains strong, making it one of Italy's most important wine businesses. In 2023, it achieved a turnover of over 255 million euros and sold more than 27 million bottles across more than 90 countries worldwide. Today, HERITA is a model that blends tradition and innovation, revolutionizing wine consumption in Italy and globally. The company pioneered Glera sparkling wines, set trends with Pinot Grigio, and led the way in Franciacorta production. It continues to promote native grape varieties such as Lugana and Vermentino while always respecting tradition and sustainability. HERITA now stands as an "enological mosaic" spanning 10 estates and 10 brands: Santa Margherita, Torresella, Kettmeir, Ca’ del Bosco, Cà Maiol, Lamole di Lamole, Vistarenni, Tenuta Sassoregale, Cantina Mesa, and Roco Winery. With over 760 hectares of vineyards in Italy and 40 hectares in Oregon's Willamette Valley, the company continues expanding internationally. Santa Margherita USA, operating in Miami since 2016, strengthens the company’s global presence. At the helm is the third generation of the Marzotto family: Gaetano Marzotto as President, Stefano Marzotto as Vice President, Luca Marzotto and Nicolò Marzotto as members of the Board of Directors, with Andrea Conzonato as CEO.
