The Hong Kong Center for Clinical Research is the first and the largest clinical trials center in the private sector in Hong Kong. It was established in 2007. The center director Dr Edith Lau (MD (CUHK), MBBS (HK), FRCP (Lond), FFPHM (UK), MSc (Epidemiology)(Lond), MFCM (UK), FHKCCM, FHKAM (Community Medicine)) is a world expert in osteoporosis, bone diseases and aging research.
