I-PRAC accreditation means guests can 100% trust you, and will book directly with your short-term rentals - in confidence. Did you know that in the financial year of 2021/2022 alone 'Action Fraud' reported that reports of holiday rental fraud skyrocketed by 120%? The frightening reality of this, is a total loss of about £7,88,353 to scammers (during just this time period) - and bear in mind, 55% of victims don't even report holiday rental fraud. If you're legitimate host, you may believe that rental fraud isn't your problem, or that it doesn't affect you. But the truth is, because this issue is rife in our sector right now, it's giving it an increasingly bad reputation. Ultimately, this is why the large majority of travellers choose to book their stays with OTAs such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO - or with chain hotels, where they trust the companies to deliver a certain experience. Even if that experience isn't of the highest quality. This leaves short-term rental hosts with a smaller chance of generating more direct bookings and growing their business. I-PRAC is the industry's only verification and membership platform. We've developed a best-in-class verification process that approves legitimate hosts, and honours them with the official 'I-PRAC Approved' logo that's impossible to replicate. This badge - and more importantly, this accreditation - assures guests that their payment and peace of mind is 100% protected with an I-PRAC member, thereby eliminating all uncertainty. We've found through years of meticulous testing, that I-PRAC Approved members who market their verification in the right way, see higher conversion rates on their direct booking websites - resulting in more direct bookings. As an I-PRAC member, you'll be part of a growing community and always have our support in growing your direct bookings' business - in the right way.
