IJLA | Writing, Editing & Proofreading Support for Business and Academia I have been a freelance writer, editor and proofreader since 2003, working on a wide variety of topics, including climate change, social protection, and disaster risk reduction and management. In January 2016 I established IJLA as a business, and I have worked with DFID, the UN, the GSDRC, and the Centre for Disaster Prevention amongst other international organizations, and with various agencies delivering on projects in many areas of development. I provide comprehensive editing and proofreading support for books, manuscripts, theses, dissertations, reports, articles, and marketing copy. I specialise in working with authors in development and law, bringing manuscripts to publication standard for globally recognised publishers such as Routledge. Summarising lengthy material or complex ideas, expressing them with clarity and brevity – whatever you need to say, I can work with you to communicate, to influence, and to explain.
