Since 1971, MDSHS has provided quality affordable homes for adults 55 and better. In 2023 we were voted the Best Retirement Community in Greater Victoria! Mount Douglas Seniors Housing Society is situated on a 4 acre, park-like setting in Gordon Head close to shopping, the University of Victoria, the Victoria Public Library and many other amenities. We provide comfortable, affordable living for independent seniors aged 55 and better. We are passionately committed to our mission of providing a safe, caring community and comfortable homes to seniors on lower incomes. At Mount Douglas Seniors Housing Society our small but dedicated team works together to create a welcoming, caring community that nourishes the people we serve and empowers our staff and volunteers. "Mount Doug" is grateful for the dedication and generous support of the ACW, who gave them a start. Today, we are a registered charity, owned and operated fully independently by a volunteer Board of Directors with a small staff team.
