Founded in 2019 by licensed mental health counselor Kasey A. Louis, Move In Faith Counseling Services (MIFCS) was formed to provide authentic behavioral health services to individuals, couples, and families throughout their lifespan. Our mission is to guide and support clients to be motivated against all odds and vigilantly walk in expectation for greater. Together we focus on clients' desires and goals to help them move from here to there with hope, joy, and faith. We provide coaching and psychotherapy services to individuals, couples (including pre-marital), and families with a focus on specific modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy tools that encourage individuals to become aware of adverse thought processes that, when addressed and reframed, encourage growth. Our licensed therapists reflect the diversity of individuals we serve by bringing various professional and cultural experiences into our work. Our therapists include associate licensed clinical social workers (LSCW), licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFT), and licensed mental health clinicians (LMHC) who unify under the same mission to provide support and tools to motivate clients to move forward against all odds. Today, MIFCS services Washington and Virginia and has had the opportunity to provide community-based seminars.
