National Cortina is a recognized leader in sales, marketing and distribution of food and beverage ingredients worldwide. For over half a century, we have been servicing the food industry across all sectors throughout the United States. Founded in 1958 by David G. Rahal, National began as a retail food distributor located in lower Manhattan, home of the burgeoning specialty food industry. As a second generation company, National has evolved into a focused ingredient supplier to food manufacturers of imported goods. Today, headquartered in New Jersey with distribution centers scattered across the country, National is recognized as a leading and trusted supplier in the industry. With the recent and steady growth of Private Label, National has enhanced their offering capability and partnered with strategic packers abroad that are able to meet the quality, service and price requirements of the US Retail Market for finished goods.
