Founded by John & Paul Nunes in 1995, Newport Vineyards is the largest grower of grapes in New England. The winery produces over 30,000 cases of estate-grown wine each year through sustainable farming methods on nearly 100-acres of historically preserved farmland. In 2015 Newport Vineyards completed a multi-million dollar renovation and 30,000-square foot expansion; including Brix Restaurant, Taproot Brewing Company (opened 2018), the Marketplace at Newport Vineyards, a new fermentation tank room and barrel room, and an event venue. The vineyard today boasts a fully farm-to-table and 100% scratch cooking program amongst their two restaurants and full in-house catering department. The events team produces over 150 private events a year from weddings, to corporate functions, private tours and tastings, luncheons, and more. Tour, taste and dine in our winery, Taproot Brewery and Brix Restaurant. Shop in our Marketplace, or enjoy a lively entertainment program from live music, to festivals, cooking classes, comedy shows and more.
