"Anterior to life stands service, posterior to death stands love, initial of creation and end of destruction, all lives lay in the foundation of love." The first act in the history of Nirmala Convent School was played out in far away Valencia, Spain, when the newly appointed Bishop of Ahmedabad, Rev. Monsignor Edwin Pinto, on a visit to his alma mater, persuaded the Bishop of Valencia to send some Spanish nuns to work in Rajkot. It was the involvement of the sisters of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Christ Jesus including Sr. Maria Theresa Unzu in the educational field in Rajkot that paved the way for the establishment of Nirmala Convent School, on 14th June 1963. Started with a small establishment fostering education to girls from Nursery to Standard 3, today Nirmala Convent School proudly provides education to more than 4000 girls with tens and thousands of Alumni! Nirmala Convent School has embarked on a remarkable journey through the years, navigating challenges in the field of education and remaining resilient during testing times. The school has played a pivotal role in transforming societal mindsets by empowering individuals to demonstrate their strength and determination, proving they are capable of standing equal to any in society. We majorly focus in the following areas, - Holistic Education - Practical Learning - Real-world & Industry Exposure - Promote Sports & Arts - Build Imagination & Creativity - Provide Equal Opportunity to Girls
