Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation’s mission is to inspire generous giving to support exceptional patient care at NHH. With a dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers and staff, the NHH Foundation is passionately committed to improving healthcare and the quality of life for people living in west Northumberland and those who seek care at NHH. Since 2002, NHH Foundation has raised over $88.5 million to build and equip NHH. This includes building a new hospital in 2003, establishing an MRI Suite in 2009, installing a new fluoroscopy unit in 2018, a complete renovation of a new, state-of-the-art operating room in 2019, renovations and replacement of two digital x-ray rooms in 2020, supporting the creation of an Integrated Stroke Unit in 2023, and more. This support comes from our generous community through a variety of programs including major gifts, planned giving, signature and third party events, direct mail and commemorative giving.
