The NSW Regional Cancer Research Network exists to build cancer research capacity within regional New South Wales. People affected by cancer in regional NSW often face greater barriers to care, fewer opportunities to participate in research, and poorer health outcomes than those living in major cities. Addressing this inequity requires strong, locally driven cancer research led by the clinicians and researchers who know their communities best. Our primary focus is supporting and developing regional researchers and clinicians to design, lead and deliver high-quality cancer research that directly improves care for people living with cancer in regional areas.
