Nutrition Advisor (TM), LLC: A Legacy of Service and Innovation: Nutrition Advisor (TM), LLC is a veteran-owned and operated company (USMC, USA, USAF) proudly serving the needs of individuals seeking trusted information about nutrition, diet, nutritional supplements and herbs. Founded in January 1997 by Lt. Col. Steven Petrosino, PhD, USMC (Retired), the company boasts a rich history rooted in dedication to service and a commitment to innovation. Born from a Quest for Knowledge: The company's website arose from Lt. Col. Petrosino's doctoral research, specifically his dissertation titled “the Welfare State and the Paradoxical Shift of Coronary Disease Risk Associated with Socioeconomic Status” and his doctoral project, "The Interactive Nutritional Supplement Advisor." This extensive computer database, meticulously compiled and originally copyrighted in 1994, formed the foundation for the company's comprehensive resource on nutritional supplements and herbs. In addition, the credentialed nutrition advisors within their directory can be consulted on nutritional subjects, and these advisors can post white papers on numerous subjects of nutritional interest. Empowering Informed Decisions: The core of Nutrition Advisor's mission lies in providing individuals with access to reliable and evidence-based information about nutrition. Their website offers a wealth of resources, including: • Access to Credentialed Nutrition Advisors within your area, or to those offering nutrition counseling remotely online. • Clinically proven benefits: Learn about the potential health benefits of various supplements and herbs, backed by scientific research in their posted white papers. • Safety and toxicity considerations: Gain insights into the potential safety concerns associated with certain supplements and herbs, enabling informed decisions about their use. • Interactions with prescription medications: Understand the potential interactions between supplements and herbs and prescriptions.
