OpenCouncil is an AI platform for local governance that makes city council meetings accessible and understandable to citizens. We transform complex council meetings into engaging, easy-to-understand content through automatic transcription and automatic generation of social media content like TikToks, Reels, and podcasts. Our approach is to bring local governance directly to citizens' phones: we send personalized WhatsApp/SMS updates about council decisions affecting their specific streets and neighborhoods.
