Openmusic is a browser-based workspace for making music together — without being in the same room or online at the same time. Most music collaboration still runs on file sharing, group chats, and voice notes explaining what changed and why. Musicians coordinate manually between tools that were never designed for handoffs — and the cost is momentum, clarity, and finished work. We're building for the musician with a day job, a family, a collaborator in another time zone — someone who can't schedule a session but still wants to make something real. The workspace holds one version of the project, always current. Every change carries the reason it was made. You leave, come back, pick up where you left off. The project goes from first note to first release. Based in Toronto. Beta launching soon. Member of the Next AI 2025 cohort — NEXT Canada's accelerator for AI-enabled ventures.
