Although historically our business roots were in engineering, Parnis Airport Services (Parnis) has grown its business over the years into large-scale projects for the aviation industry, pipeline and integrity systems, and material handling solutions. Parnis has enjoyed a long and productive relationship with the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), which began over 25 years ago. Parnis has the distinction of being the only South African company to have locally co-designed, manufactured, and installed passenger boarding bridges at OR Tambo International Airport (formerly Jan Smuts Airport, Johannesburg) between 1992 and 1994. Since then, we have completed numerous aviation projects, ranging from: *Upgrades and maintenance of aviation fuel-hydrant systems to comply with the latest API and JIG standards *Installation and maintenance of baggage handling and hold baggage screening systems *Visual Guidance Docking Systems (VDGS) and 400 Hz Ground Power installations *Installation and maintenance of hydraulic road blockers
