Phoenix Marine Manufacturing is a leading marine manufacturer in Cape Town, specialising in the design and construction of luxury vessels, catamarans, and seagoing yachts built for performance, reliability, and longevity. Founded in 2013, Phoenix was established with a clear vision: to combine advanced engineering with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver quality boat building that stands up to the demands of the open ocean. Today, the company has grown into a trusted name in the global marine industry, known for producing vessels that are both technically refined and practically designed for life at sea. Operating from Atlantis, just outside Cape Town — one of the world’s foremost boatbuilding hubs — Phoenix integrates its core disciplines under one roof. From advanced composites and precision CNC machining to marine joinery, upholstery, and electrical systems, every aspect of the build is managed in-house to ensure consistency, efficiency, and uncompromising quality. At the heart of Phoenix is its Design Office, Studio 34° South, where concepts are transformed into build-ready solutions through detailed engineering, CNC outputs, and systems integration. This design-led approach ensures that every vessel is not only beautifully executed but also structurally sound and serviceable over time. Phoenix is equally committed to people and community. Through the Phoenix Skills Development Centre, the company invests in training and upskilling, creating pathways into the marine industry and supporting the next generation of South African boatbuilders. As part of the Fluid Group, Phoenix benefits from a wider ecosystem of innovation, manufacturing expertise, and sustainable thinking. Phoenix Marine Manufacturing builds more than boats — it builds vessels designed to endure, and careers designed to grow.
