Our mission is to drive a just and sustainable transition to plant-based catering throughout the European university system as part of a key solution to climate and nature emergencies, and to end the exploitation of animals in our food system. We work to do this in a way that supports all university students, staff, caterers, food producers, farmers, and stakeholders through the transition. At the heart of our mission is grassroots power: thousands of people demanding institutional change from the bottom up. The science is clear: our food systems must change. Universities are leaders in knowledge and sustainability, so it’s time their practices match their values. By going plant-based, universities can spark the cultural shift needed for this change, while making a measurable difference right now.
