PQS is a specialist quantity surveying and commercial management firm serving South Africa's mining, engineering construction, and renewable energy sectors. With a team of 37+ registered quantity surveyors and over 675 completed projects, we provide the full spectrum of commercial services — from feasibility estimating and BOQ production through to contract administration, forensic delay analysis, and quantum assessment. We work under NEC3 ECC, FIDIC, JBCC, and GCC contract frameworks, and hold SACQSP registration under the Engineering Construction discipline. What sets us apart is our integrated approach to commercial risk. Beyond conventional quantity surveying, we also specialise in forensic delay analysis, quantum assessment, contractual dispute resolution, and proactive opportunity seeking — giving our clients a genuine commercial advantage throughout the project lifecycle. To date, we have delivered over R1 billion in validated savings and cost recoveries for our clients across the mining and engineering sectors. We have been appointed on some of the most technically demanding projects in Southern Africa, including the world's largest lined tailings storage facility, the world's largest solar and battery storage plant, and a decade-long major smelter rebuild programme. Every client engagement is led by a dedicated director and supported by discipline-specific teams across all disciplines and claims.
