We envision an abundance of vibrant self-sustaining settlements in space and regenerative communities on Earth supported by ecological technologies -- consisting of both organisms and machines -- that will spread life throughout the solar system. The goal of the Propagule Space Ecology Institute is to advance the science and technology of closed ecological systems for sustainable habitation, on and off Earth. We are a nonprofit research institute (working on 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status) conducting and supporting research and development and disseminating it to industry and the public.
