Resodyn Acoustic Mixers, Inc. designs, manufactures and sells innovative industrial material mixing solutions based on technology that harnesses the energy of sound. ResonantAcoustic(R) Mixing (RAM) technology uses low-frequency, high-intensity acoustic energy to mix industrial materials, which a radical departure from the way traditional mechanical mixers work. With acoustic energy, RAM applies a consistent shear field throughout the contents of an entire mixing vessel. These high levels of energy that are imparted to vessel contents cause rapid fluidization and dispersion that results in rapid, thorough mixing. RAM mixers do not use impellers or other mechanical devices to perform mixing. Compared to traditional mechanical mixers, less heat is generated during mixing.
