RetoLogic designs and develops a application for the agile planning of factory operations. The application is designed around four important pillars: 1. Create detailed work orders which describes which workbench does what and when with a continuous time model instead of time buckets while handling all "real life" constraints. 2. Manage disruptions whatever the cause is with the purposes of enabling the manufacturing process to be more responsive and help better serve the customers. 3. Do these two functions as fast as possible otherwise like any other existing planning software, this will not be used to manage shop floor operations in a real-life setting. As a matter of fact, RetoLogic's planning app can execute a run of MRP and scheduling for a shop floor with more than 170 workbenches and 30000 materials in less than 20 seconds for a planning horizon of 6 weeks. 4. The app must be as user-friendly as possible. With the advent of the concepts such as smart/advanced manufacturing and Industrie 4.0, manufacturing enterprises are expected to respond in near-real-time to disruptions regardless of the source being changing demands or changing conditions in the factory or in the supply network. Our app enables the least agile component of the supply network - the factories - to manage their shop floors efficiently while embracing disruptions.
