Welcome to our family owned and operated Wine & Beer Retail ecommerce Store! Our store was founded by Doug & Kim Hotz back in 1999. Doug left his wholesale wine career that started in 1987 to bring his passion for finding great wines from all over the world for all budgets to our hometown of Charlottesville Virginia. Fast forward to today and in addition to managing the retail store, Doug is a wine judge, educator, former director of the Virginia Monticello Wine Cup competition and is considered one of the most experienced and knowledgeable Proprietors in Virginia. We are excited to share Doug’s and all of our staffs wine knowledge and offer you our online store for your shopping convenience and safety 24/7 at www.discountvino.com! We offer wines, beers, ciders, mead, gourmet foods including Authentic Cajun foods, cured meats, cheeses, chocolates, Virginia Made products, accessories and more! Special orders welcome!
