----- SAM is a company offering retail and wholesale customers a wide range of building and technical material in a chain of stores. When Anton Sedeljšak founded the company 30 years ago, he charted the course for one of the most successful and competitive building material and supplies companies in Slovenia. Set up in 1991 as a small business with a single shop and a single employee, SAM now ranks among medium-sized companies. In addition to nine modern commercial centres, it has a reinforcing steel bending plant and employs more than 200 people. SAM’s modern commercial centres are located in central and north-eastern Slovenia and offer whatever customers need when building, renovating and maintaining a home: a wide range of building material, tools, ironmongery, plumbing and electric material, paints and facades, ceramics and bathroom furniture, floor coverings, and other products for the home and garden.
