Our world is changing, growing and evolving. And as part of Scottish Water we’re using our infrastructure, knowledge and innovative ideas to encourage growth and sustainable development. Scottish Water has treatment works, reservoirs and tens of thousands of miles of water and waste water pipes. Some of these assets are either no longer used or simply underused. By harnessing the opportunities these assets provide, we are changing the horizon. From generating renewable energy from waste water to facilitating industry innovation to meet global water needs, we are helping our customers grow their business whilst contributing to a greener and more successful Scotland. Already we’ve helped customers enhance their environmental credentials by recycling food waste into green energy; delivered new water and waste water infrastructure to some of the biggest developments in Scotland; extended telecommunications by leasing our assets; and treated a variety of liquid wastes at our licensed treatment facilities. These are just some of the things we are doing to benefit our customers, our economy and our environment. If you would like to find out how we can help your business, contact us today.
