SCC is supported by EBRD in collaboration with the UK Good Governance Fund, and is fully operational since February 2019 based on signed Memorandum of Understanding between EBRD and Government of Montenegro. Main goal of the Secretariat is to support the work of the Council on a daily basis and thus impacts the efficiency and improvement of public - private dialogue in Montenegro. Some of the key activities of the Secretariat related to Council are: preparation of the proposal of the Council’s Annual Work Plan and Annual Report on the Work of the Council; follow-up of the implementation of the conclusions from the meetings of the Council; collection of relevant opinions for the topics envisaged in the Council’s Agenda; continuous communication with the members of the Council, state institutions and business community in order to define measures to improve business environment. Additionally, SCC provides expert support to the working groups dealing with priority topics defined by Council.
