However we do have some thriving big towns in the district including Sevenoaks, Swanley, Edenbridge and Westerham. Sevenoaks District is also known for its Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which account for more than 60 per cent of the District. We collect the bins and the council tax but we provide so much more to make Sevenoaks District a great place to live, work and visit. We manage development, support local businesses, work to keep the District clean, safe and healthy, provide grants to support local projects and can even MOT your car or help with pest control problems.
