Accelerating Australia’s Semiconductor & Quantum Future SiliconCatalyst.AU is the Australian arm of Silicon Catalyst, the world’s only incubator and accelerator dedicated exclusively to semiconductor and quantum startups — spanning chips, chiplets, materials, IP, photonics, MEMS, sensors, life sciences, and quantum technologies. Building on a proven global model that’s supported 1,200+ startups and admitted over 100 portfolio companies across the U.S., U.K., and Europe, we’re now bringing that success Down Under to help Australian founders move from idea to silicon. Our flagship ChipStart AU program provides access to world-class EDA tools, IP libraries, and multi-project wafer runs with partners like TSMC, Synopsys, GlobalFoundries, Arm, and MathWorks, plus a network of 400+ expert mentors across Silicon Valley and Australia. Backed by the Queensland Venture Capital Development Fund (VCDF) managed by Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC), and supported by a national consortium led by Yaja Ventures, SiliconCatalyst.AU connects Australia’s research excellence with global commercialization pathways. From low-power IoT and RF systems to quantum hardware and sensors, we’re building the bridge between Australia’s deep-tech talent and global semiconductor markets, empowering the next generation of innovators to scale from Brisbane to Silicon Valley — and beyond. SiliconCatalyst.AU — the future of deep-tech isn’t imported — it’s being built right here.
