Fine Heirloom Sewing & Custom-made Embroideries From Classic Children’s Tales to Classic Children's Apparel I have a love for the classics! I love beautifully detailed children's apparel made with love and with the distinctive hand touches of smocking, embroidery and sweet pleats. I also enjoy the whimsical look of the latest trends for babies and children. For me, fashion is art, and the artist in me loves to create & design sewing patterns and unique machine embroideries. My first love is for Hand Smocking & Heirloom Sewing, and I enjoy teaching sewing and embroidery techniques. You can find all my sewing & technique tutorials here at Southern Stitches. I also am owner/designer of Brer Rabbit Designs, a website devoted exclusively for children’s wear patterns and designs. You can also find my work published in the pages of Sew Beautiful magazine, where I am a commissioned designer.
