Why bother with the butterflies of presenting & public speaking? The clock is ticking; in a very short while you are committed to standing up and speaking in public, perhaps presenting at a client meeting, or a networking meeting, or speaking at an event… How confident are you feeling? How comfortable are you with speaking in public? Raring to go, or - as with more people than you would perhaps have thought - would you prefer to pass the baton to someone else…. Why bother building these skills? You know why; you’ve been to enough events, conferences and meetings to know that the confident speaker is more likely to have their story heard, and becomes the ‘go to’ person in the room; evolution has hard wired us to accord respect, authority, and actually listen to you when you speak confidently. And surely you want to be successful in taking your message to your audience, building your opportunities to win business?
