The remarkable history of STIEBEL ELTRON's success begins with the invention and production of the first coil immersion heater in a backyard workshop in Berlin in 1924. Inspired by this feat, the company has adhered to the maxims of the founder, Dr. Theodor Stiebel, who sought to produce only innovative products of the highest quality. STIEBEL ELTRON has become one of the leading manufacturers in the fields of "Hot Water" and "Renewable Energy". The company launched its UK operation in February 2008 at the Wirral International Business Park, headed up by managing director, Mark McManus. The company is looking to build on its established track record in renewable energy products across Europe. Armed with a new range of products and services Stiebel Eltron UK is keen to drive a high profile campaign highlighting the role of heat pumps in helping the UK become greener.
