Strategy of Things helps mid-market organizations turn AI from isolated initiatives into a coordinated business capability. AI is everywhere. Real business impact is much harder to achieve. Most organizations experimenting with AI quickly encounter the same challenge: initiatives emerge across departments, but there is no leadership structure to prioritize investments, manage risk, coordinate execution, and scale what works. We help organizations solve this problem by establishing what we call the AI Operating Function - the leadership capability that allows companies to manage AI as a sustained enterprise capability rather than a series of disconnected projects. Through our Fractional Chief AI Officer services, we work directly with leadership teams to: • Define AI direction and investment priorities • Evaluate and prioritize high-value opportunities • Establish governance and operating structures • Guide initiatives from pilot to scaled business impact Our work is grounded in decades of experience helping organizations adopt emerging technologies such as IoT, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise innovation. Today, we focus on helping mid-market companies build the leadership structures required to make AI deliver measurable results. Because AI experimentation is easy. Turning AI into sustained business impact requires leadership, structure, and discipline. That’s where we help.
