When the sun shines through ice crystals in the sky, a sundog appears. Sundogs appear in pairs, bookending the sun like companions -- or dogs -- and reflecting its impression. Just as sundogs reflect the sun, it is an artist's job to hold a mirror to humanity. Through humor and drama, Sundog has presented its theatrical works, many of them Island-centric, for the past 22 years to show humankind through an exploratory light. Likewise, our in-school programs support our mission to create lasting, positive change in children’s lives through the arts.
